Dear Representative;

I am an employee of the Southeastern Transportation Authority and a member of the Transport Workers Union Local #234. We are writing to gain some information from other mass transit operations across the country, to help improve our performance overall to our employees and our riding public.

We are currently operating a very vigorous schedule including 28 bus and trolley routes that operate on a 24-hour basis.

It would amiably be appreciated if you would take the time to answer the following questions:

Has your transit system either implemented or extended the option of a 10-hour, 4-day workweek?

Are your operators currently working with or without swing shifts, and if so what is the range of the swings and are they paid or unpaid?

How many personal or comp days are offered?

I would like to thank you in advance for your cooperation and attention to this matter. I can be reached at the address or email above for a response.

Sincerely,

William S. Shores Jr. -06383
