Unhappy gov't contractor Posted by: Jeremy on August 01, 1998 at 02:24:28: My current job (working for a government contractor) is sucking the energy right out of me. Someone else was posting about how he was just letting his work ethic go, well, I know how that feels. The problem with these gov't jobs is that if you work your ass off to produce the best possible product, the gov't people you have to deal with will punish you by dreaming up lots of microscopic changes to make. Whereas if you do shoddy work and the minimum amount of work necessary, and drag your heels every step of the way, you won't hear back from these people.
