: At my new job, the management staff is
performing some questionable business practices
which I'd like to get advice on.

: If an employee makes a justifiable mistake,
can a manager inflict a monetary fine on the
senior employee who is in charge?

: An employee was recently wrongfully
terminated. That employee complained to the
labor board. The labor board contacted the
president of the company. The president of the
company claims that the employee was terminated
due to employee theft. I know for a fact that
this is not true. What should I do in this
case? Should I contact the labor board myself
to let them know of the outright injustices done
to that employee?

: I work 6 days a week. My total hours are more
than 40 hours per week. Can an employer claim
that they do not have to pay overtime because
they say that I am salaried?

: The company where I work advertises many
features that they don't offer? Is there an
organization that regulates what a company
advertises?

I think the position you are in is very sad. I am not an attorney nor am i familiar with much of these laws, but one thing i know is that two wrongs don't make a right. If you know someone is being accused of something that is not true you should speak up. What if that person were you? You sound like a very smart person to be able to observe this and are aware of it wrong doing. Take action and speak up have respect for yourself and don't let no one walk over you.
