No compensation Posted by: Leah Purdy on February 05, 1999 at 11:23:52: I'm a PR coordinator for a large city Transit/Transportation Department, where our booming population makes transp. one hot topic for the media. I am Management Exempt, and am required to carry a pager 24/7. The nature of this job is definately operational and does require this 24 hour contact. I'm the only person in my field in this Department. Does anyone have any advice on compensation, or coordination. I'm burning out!
