Privacy

If someone can please let me know how to keep my employer from prying into my personal life I would certainly appreciate it. This includes privacy at home, also. I have been the victim of incredible intrusivenes and feel everything I do is known to my employer. Where can I start on ensuring some privacy for myself and my family. One thing that seems apparent at my workplace is that most people will not stick up for each other. If you see someone else being treated poorly, we should speak up. We all need to stick together if anything is ever going to change. I just want some privacy, now I don't even talk to anyone outside of work hours except those who don't work at the same place. Someone even went so far as to use my SS# to pretend to be me to attain school records when I was taking some classes at a local college. It was passed through work like a big joke, yet not one person would stand up for me. I am leaving this company, but if someone had the guts to come forward I could have done something about this without sounding like a paranoid idiot.

Any thoughts?
