: Hi: I am truly fed up with my job. I am to the point I will do any other job in the world than work for a drug chain.
: Since a huge merger took place, we have had at least 7 employees quit. Assorted reasons were given, but favortism and people getting stuck with the same days working(like me every Fri, Sat & Sun ). The favorites of the bosses get their weekends off, with an occasional weekend working. I have been with this company for 24 years now, and was also told by the same boss that my wages are frozen......I can make no more than $8.00 an hour(unless the min. wage goes up). Yet, I am the first person they call when they need someone.
: The place used to be a fair place to work, but lately I get physically sick even thinking about going to work. I would rather risk my job and the unpaid bills, rather than my health and mental outlook of self worth than work for them any longer. I just hope that their "merger" proves to be a costy one, of time, people and cash. In my opinion they should reap what they have sown.
: I can't see a huge company letting their stores go down like ours has, except as a huge tax write-off. I am no psychic, but the way I see it, we all better second look our jobs because of mergers & downsizing. They sure as hell don't care about the employees, why should we care about them!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks for listening, Elaine
