GlobalMedia Design (GMD) is an online venture, content and technology development firm with offices in Orlando, New York City, and Greensboro (NC). Eight members of the GMD development team will be involved in this project, coordinating technical & creative design as well as serving as project managers and team leaders. GMD has received significant acclaim for its online productions (which include indieWIRE, filmmag.com, The Slant, Rank This! and the web-documentary Hong Kong 97: Lives in Transition) as well as for the commercial work done for clients such as Ernst & Young LLP, Westinghouse, the Sundance Institute, New Line Cinema, and the Official Star Trek Fan Club. Participating staff include Brian Clark, Andrew Cowan, Jim Rhoades, Don May, Dan Leeds, Tammy Kearns, J.D. Ashcraft and Karol Martesko.

CLC Films is an award-winning independent filmmaking collective based in Raleigh, North Carolina. Their acclaimed film The Delicate Art of the Rifle was the winner of the "Best Feature" awards at the 1996 Chicago Underground Film Festival and the 1996 North Carolina Film Festival. It also won the "Best Screenplay" award at the Avignon French-American Film Festival. The quirky, offbeat film was acclaimed by critics as one of the most unique American independent films in the festival circuit: Variety described it as a strikingly intelligent film that... exhibits a fresh cinematic voice; Scott Macaulay of Filmmaker Magazine wrote the film was a sly and witty meditation on history, pop culture, and generational identity. Critics have called their latest work, Boy Crazy, a personal Jungian apocalypse, a coming of age when the age is coming to an end.

Most of the filmmakers who make up CLC films have used the Web (or other forms of design) as their day jobs... two of them even have MUD design experience. Participating staff include Stephen Grant, Dante W. Harper, T. Todd Flinchum and Alicia Kratzer.

Brian Clark is the co-founder and head producer of GMD Studios (Orlando | New York), the independent online media development firm behind such award-winning projects as Hong Kong 1997: Lives in Transition, Rank This, The Slant, and indieWIRE. He is also an outspoken advocate for how Internet and new media technologies empower independent artists (and is a frequent presenter on the topic at film festivals, including the Sundance Film Festival, the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival and the Florida Film Festival). Before venturing into new media, Brian was an audio engineer and producer in the Midwest independent music scene (with over 38 albums to his credit).
