Hey moderator,
I just gave my feedback on some options he has, I am not making his mind up/
As for getting others involved, why bring others in especially if thery're comfortable in their jobs, they won't be help anyway. It depends on who you work with. Some just want a job, any job.
So are you a middle manager, moderator, what is your story??? I'd be interested to know

TOmmy: Tommy,

: I sure agree with your "he is being stuck in the middle, supervising others without that much compensation. They give him a title to make him feel good. Wears off after awhile." And I agree he should do something about. Do you see a difference between your 1st line "he should speak up" and "make it a living hell"?

: You said, "Now, of course, if job security is top priority here then he shouldn't cause too much of a ruckus." I don't think either you or I can tell him what his priorities should be, but, we can help him think through what he will do. That's why the board.

: Tommy, I'm curious, why didn't you say anything about the idea of working with other supervisors? Do you think he can make more of a difference by being a 1 person hell-raiser?

: : I definitely think he should speak up he's been there for years! I also think that if he doesn't no one will. But, as was said before, he is being stuck in the middle, supervising others without that much compensation. They give him a title to make him feel good. Wears off after awhile. That's why he should raise hell

: : : Couldn't your "living hell get John fired? Wouldn't getting all the supervisors together work better? Tell me why you think a one person hell-raising crusade would get him over-time money?
