Profanity in the Office Posted by: Kim B. on May 31, 1999 at 23:50:06: Has anyone worked for an office were there was a lot of profanity, screaming and no respect? I recently resigned from a job where it was so bad that I lost total concentration on my work and experienced anxiety attacks. I worked side by side with a secretary who constantly talked, was high strung, intiminating and threatening. My boss would call an employee a ??????? incompetant ???????? to their face. One day the secretary and my boss was both yelling at me at the same time. I asked my boss a question and he said "What the ?????? are you asking me for." "How in the ????? am I supposed to know." Since he was the owner of the company, there was nothing that I could do about it. So, I just quit to save myself and my own emotional well-being. Has anyone experienced this before? Follow Ups
