no promotion Posted by: zalina on June 15, 1998 at 10:27:41: I've been working for the company for almost 8 years - yet I am still who I am when they first employed me. I've done my best and always being a dedicated staff. But I am dissapointed that nobody seems to recognise my contribution. I was thinking how could I develope my career here if there's no improvement in my prospect - people will say "she's just a lousy worker, that's why she's going nowhere..." but the problem is I am getting a steady increment and a good income but just a lousy clerical status - it's a very bad impression on me. I can't easily apply for an executive level job because of my history of 8 working as clerical (but getting an executive salary) How sad.....and so disapointed Follow Ups
