At any rate, I do belong to a union...a graphic arts union. We just negotiated a 3 year contract that was loaded with givebacks. Many people lost pay including me. So if you are going to have a union, make sure that it is one that is beneficial for you. Ours seems to be rather weak. The pay scale in our area is being driven downward while the expectations are getting higher and higher as we get more technology. Good Luck!!!! Follow Ups
