Especially the action part. Some unions are looking at the the industry very seriously. The CWA (Communications Workers of America) is trying to figure out how to expand on it. NWA (National Writers Union) has thought about programers as writers. Have you talked to others? What do they think? We should have our own board. How about it? : As we've come from the industrial age - where employees were overworked and underpaid - into the computer age - where computer people are overworked and underpaid, isn't about time that someone organize a "United Computer Workers" Union similar to the United Auto Workers of America? : I could make more money driving a truck or assembling a car than I can integrating computer systems! : What keeps this from happening? : PS - we could all go on strike 12/31/1999! ; >) Follow Ups
